To disrupt the drugstore beauty aisle, Métier created primary and secondary packaging worthy of a premium beauty retailer.

Working with Glamsquad, Métier Creative sought to surprise and delight CVS consumers by reimagining what they’ve come to expect from a drugstore. By auditing current drugstore beauty shelves, Métier found multiple white-space opportunities that informed our Creative and Art Direction for primary and secondary packaging, resulting in a patterned and tech-inspired design that ensures originality in the beauty aisle.

Along with packaging, Métier created a unique Brand Communication Strategy, positioning GSQ as a first-of-its-kind brand that combines the best of both worlds: the convenience and value of a trusted drugstore with the innovative, social-first experience and packaging that a premium beauty retailer has to offer. As seen in hundreds of CVS stores across the country, the GSQ brand cuts through the saturated beauty space and gives the consumer a whole new drugstore experience.
