The concept was simple: create a share-worthy video that highlights what we on the inside of the fashion industry assume everyone else knows. To celebrate Pre’O Season and Fashion Week, we set out to educate the masses about Moda Operandi’s unique trunkshow business model with the help of some of the biggest and best names in the biz. The result: A whole lot of LOL and cringe-worthy moments.

We casted a myriad of noteworthy fashion leaders from editors (Laura Brown, Zanna Roberts Rassi, Karla Martinez), bloggers (Marianna Hewitt), models (Pat Cleveland, Lily Aldridge, Daniella Braga), fashion influencers, designers (Brandon Maxwell, Wes Gordon, Alison Chemla) and more. Special shout out to all the parents, boyfriends, grandmothers and fam who still don’t know what we (or Moda) does for a living!

By concepting a storyline that was relevant in general culture instead of just directly relaying the brand’s message, we were able to resonate with a wide network of audiences. Our super shareworthy video series was organically picked up by Forbes, Harper’s Bazaar, Hollywood Reporter, Yahoo, Daily Mail, Fashion Week Daily, Who What Wear, and Harper’s Bazaar Arabia. Pretty good, right?
